Our Services

The early part of strategy is our thinking and exploring with you. From what we know, we can inject questions that surface information that shapes goals that drive everything that comes next.

Branding

Until you know who you are and can say it simply, quickly, and to all the right people . . . you’re not in control of your identity. Let us lead you through the logic and questions that help you shape the visual cues (logos, colors, symbols) and words (taglines, mission statements, and other materials) that capture your service . . . product . . . personality . . . mission . . . purpose.

Seemingly small things do everything to broadcast that thing you do.

Public Relations

When your message has to flag down and arrest audiences . . . to set the record straight . . . or help shape opinion, foster goodwill, support sales, inform, frame a viewpoint, spur awareness, improve recruiting, support fundraising, or mitigate a crisis . . . good PR helps make it happen.

Good PR finds the news in your story. Unlike advertising, it’s not paid media. It’s journalism—with the credibility that news has over sales.

Reporters are not the enemy. Lack of planning, poor information, and unawareness are. Good journalists won’t promote your agenda. But they will take information, stories, and interviews that matter to their audiences.

In today’s 24 hour news cycle, options far surpass network news and daily papers. Good PR identifies which communications channels reach right audiences—the people who want and need your message. Good PR brings the right parties together for a common purpose: for news that matters.

Grassroots Marketing

News you pick up in the usual media can’t hold a candle to the endorsement you pick up at a ballgame, or in class or a parent-teachers’ meeting, or between Sunday morning services, at the doctor’s office . . . in a bible study.

Call it word of mouth, buzz, the tipping point —it’s grassroots networking and nothing works better.

Nothing works better in promoting, say, a new Christian sports movie, than for youth leaders, Christian coaches, responsive parents, and the grassroots activists to tell the people in their circles, who tell people in their circles . . . and you get the point.

The point is that grassroots marketing is a wildfire on a windy day, and when you’ve got an important message, one that matters, we can help you strike matches.

Events

Some events advance marketing or PR. Some stand alone. Promotional or publicity-driven events include press conferences or “availabilities,” movie screenings and premieres, grand openings, open houses, inaugural balls . . . movie premiers. A standalone might be a leaders’ summit, pastoral meeting, staff retreat, anniversary, personal celebration, or a thank you event.

Note, however: every event should be strategic. And whatever the purpose, you want seamless operations start to finish.

Let us make that happen for you. Innovations, ideas, and connections from our experience can make the difference in yours.

Writing

Mark Twain gets credit for saying it: “If I’d had more time I’d have written a shorter letter.” The point is that it takes time to say what you mean, briefly. But in a world of shrinking attention spans, that’s the brass ring. And in your own world of shrunken time, we can help you deliver simplicity and smarts.

We can help you with corporate brochures, newsletters, websites, radio spots, direct mail, letters, books, op-ed pieces . . . even magazine articles under your byline.
