One day on a whim, after a night of partying, they book a summer trip to India. A third world country, right? They arrive in Hyderabad, India, marveling at how normal it looks. A step outside the airport, however, hits them with the real India. Caden sees a father begging and catches the eye of the man’s young daughter. The girl is Annika, seven years old and weathered beyond her years by the worst of humanity.
