Worth’s university district, next to TCU, was founded in 1987 by Dr. James Patrick. Inviting students to “the bright world of ideas, ever new, in the Great Books of Western Civilization,” The College offers a classical liberal arts curriculum from the disciplines of literature, philosophy, theology, Latin, and Greek. In The Newman Guide to Choosing a Catholic College, The College of St. Thomas More (“The Classical College of Texas”) is in the first tier of eight schools recognized as "Joyfully Catholic."
